How can I access the course for my camp?
The organiser of your camp will be able to provide the address for your camps course. Ask them to email it to you.
How are the courses structured?
Each course is made up of 1 or more modules and each module is made up of 1 or more lessons. They are grouped together to have similar lessons at the same time.
What content is contained in the courses?
There is a variety of information that makes up each course including text, images and videos.
How long does each course take?
This varies from course to course. Each lesson has the estimated time to complete visible as you start the lesson. Most courses should take less than 20 mins
How are the quizzes structured?
The quizzes are made up of either True/False or multiple choice questions. The quizzes are graded immediately and the results will be available to you instantly. Quizzes require a 100% pass mark but you can reset and take the quizz as many times as you require.

Why do adult helpers need to take these courses?
Finlay Park prides itself in providing challenging and safe activities for all the camps that use the Finlay Park facilities. There are a number of activities that require specialist knowledge and training and these activities will be run by qualified Finlay Park staff. Some activities may require assistance from a responsible trained adult or can be run by a responsible trained adult. These online courses provide the ability for Finlay Park to train adults coming to camp before they arrive and therefore reducing the time required on site to complete the training. On site refresher training will also be provided at camp with the opportunity to ask questions from Finlay Park Staff.
Registration
How can I register?
You can register with your Facebook or Google account. Just click on the Facebook or Google button to register and login. If you use these options we will never post on your wall unless you choose to share your course completion at the end of each course.
You also have the option to register with a email address and password directly on the Finlay Park Training site.
Why do I need to register?
Registration is required so we know that you have completed the courses required for your camp. You can save your progress and come back at a later time to complete the course if required.

Is Finlay Park audited for the activities available?
Yes Finlay Park is required to go through the Outdoors Mark certification process to ensure that all equipment, use and supervision is safe. Finlay Park is proud of their safety record and if you have any questions or concerns at any time please contact the staff and they will assist you.
